In 1994, Mr. Needham graduated from The University of Georgia with a B.A in Marketing and on the day he graduated he was offered a position in the staffing industry. It’s safe to say that he found his calling because he has remained in staffing ever since. For nine years Roger worked for Aerotek quickly advancing into various roles and honing his skills. After a successful tenure with Aerotek, Roger went on to become the Vice President of Southeast operations for Adecco and later worked as a Regional Manager for Nesco Resource. In March of 2005, Roger had a vision for what technical staffing could be. So he took his collected experience and a few of his most talented employees from his past and started Anchor Staffing and Anchor Technical Services. After sixteen years, Roger realized that the most important key to success was a talented workforce and a focus on customer service. By employing only the highest caliber salespeople and recruiters, the company has grown from three employees to thirty and from one office to three in just five years.
Roger is happily married with two beautiful daughters, Georgia and Gracie. His family resides in the Crofton area. Roger is a fishing, hunting and golfing enthusiast.
John Wright - Vice President
John brings fourteen years of extensive experience in staffing to the team at Anchor Staffing, Inc. He has held various positions that increased his expertise and knowledge in the staffing industry before joining Anchor Staffing, Inc. John started his career in 1996 with Aerotek in Maryland. There he learned recruiting and later moved into a sales role, specializing in the Light Industrial and Administrative division. After his tenure at Aerotek, John moved to Texas and accepted a position with Nesco Resource as Area Manager. There he was based in Dallas and was responsible for sales growth throughout the state. He quickly turned around underperforming offices by bringing an aggressive nature and implementing successful processes learned early in his career.
In 2006 John returned to Maryland and joined Anchor Staffing, Inc. as Vice President. In this role, John is responsible for sales growth, profitability, and recruiter development for Light Industrial and Administrative services.
In his personal life, John resides in Hanover, Maryland. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf and tennis. He also likes to travel and explore new adventures. Reading books is a passion that John uses to relax and continually expand his business knowledge.
